EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members,
REMINDER - Website Maintenance:
Our hosting provider is going to be performing some server updates this weekend in an effort to improve site performance and reliability. While we expect there to be minimal impact on service, it is possible that the site might be inaccessible for several hours on Saturday.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email [email protected]. We'll also try to post updates on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/investedcentral.
On to today's Update....
KEY EARNINGS REPORTS:
Friday: CTB
Monday: BRCD, CRM, JEC, JKS, TSN, URBN
These are just a few of the companies reporting today and Monday. Please check earnings dates for any stocks you own.
NOTE:
Thanks to all who took the time to complete our recent survey. It helps us a great deal to hear what is working and where we need to improve our service. The first change I'll make is to provide a bit more information at the time a stock is added to our Watch List, as you'll see from the 3 additions below.
We will also work to provide more clarity on the website regarding entry points triggered, stops and targets hit, etc. If you have not already completed the survey, please consider taking the time to do so. It seriously will only take 5 minutes, if that, and the responses are being used to help us improve our service.
Thank you!
ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS:
There are three additions to our Watch Lists today as follows:
Large Cap:
M, $19.09 billion market cap - entering at current price (50.74) with 2nd entry at 49.65 and final entry at rising 20 day EMA, currently at 46.92. More details on annotated chart over the weekend.
ROC, $5.24 billion market cap - entering at current price (70.16) with 2nd entry at 68.25 and final entry at 66.58. More details on annotated chart over the weekend.
Small Cap:
RLD, $430.99 million market cap - entering at current price (8.70) with 2nd entry at 8.20 and final entry at rising 20 day EMA, currently at 7.51. Looks like a breakaway gap. More details on annotated chart over the weekend.
Some members have expressed concern as to the number of stocks on our Watch List. Consider evaluating your own trading strategy when deciding if you want to take a position in any of our Watch List stocks. For instance, some of you may be extremely conservative. If that's the case, consider concentrating on the Large Cap list where there's likely to be fewer huge price swings. Also, consider waiting for 2nd and/or 3rd entries instead of jumping in at the current price.
Alternatively, if you tend to be more aggressive, you may lean to the Small Cap and Mid Cap Watch Lists. And perhaps waiting for 2nd and 3rd entries is not appealing.
Also, for those who work and don't have time to track individual stocks every day, these entry points can be used as a guide to set limit orders. Just consider keeping position sizes fairly small to ensure this works for you before committing further.
We do value your opinions and look to constantly improve our service to the benefit of all.
BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS:
Large Cap Watch List:
SCHW - Adding to recent gains and only 2% from our Target Price of 25.00.
FRX - Should consider moving to the railroad industry because this is a freight train. :-)
GOOG - 1037.43 is closing resistance, which is being tested again. Our Target Price remains 1160.
NUS - Bouncing nicely off our Initial Entry price of 111.00, which triggered several days ago. We have a Target Price of 120.00.
PRGO - Hit our Target Price of 152.00 on Thursday. We will keep it on our Watch List and now look for re-entry at the rising 20 day EMA.
CRM - REMOVING FROM OUR WATCH LIST AS THEY REPORT EARNINGS ON MONDAY. IT DIDN'T QUITE REACH OUR TARGET PRICE OF 60.00, BUT HAS BEEN AN OUTSTANDING PERFORMER WHILE ON OUR LIST.
VMC - Appears to be strengthening again after pulling back to trigger our 2nd Entry at 55.00. We now have an average entry of 56.25 that includes our Initial Entry at 57.50. Our Target Price is 64.00.
Mid Cap Watch List:
AYI - Moved within one dollar of our Target Price of 107.00 before reversing. There would be nothing wrong with taking profits on AYI given the long-term negative divergence in play.
BRCD - REMOVING FROM OUR WATCH LIST AS THEY REPORT EARNINGS ON MONDAY. THIS ONE NEVER CAME CLOSE TO OUR TARGET PRICE OF 9.75, BUT HAS BEEN A SOLID TRADING VEHICLE DURING ITS EARNINGSBEATS.COM WATCH LIST TENURE.
DWRE - Up nearly 10% since it was initially included on our Watch List at an Entry Price of 58.49. It's very overbought and though it remains 10% below our Target Price of 70.00, profit taking wouldn't be a bad decision.
GNTX - Beginning to strengthen, up roughly 3.5% since being added to our Watch List with an Initial Entry of 28.93.
AWAY - Up another 7% today and has risen almost 5 bucks, or 15%, since its Initial Entry of 33.65. The Target Price of 41.00 is getting closer and closer while AWAY's oscillator readings are becoming extremely overbought. Taking at least partial profits makes sense. Volume here is OUTSTANDING though and reeks of accumulation.
NTCT - Down 2.5% today, but that's not too surprising as NTCT formed a cup. The current selling is printing a potential handle. A true cup with handle will likely bounce at the rising 20 day EMA, currently at 28.58. If you sold at resistance, consider re-entering from the current price down to the 20 day EMA.
THOR - Very light volume as closing price resistance at 43.21 is tested again. Taking profits and re-entering on the rising 20 day EMA would not be a bad strategy at all. We'll keep our Target Price at 47.50.
TIBX - Will this one EVER make a move? For now, it's holding support so we'll keep it on our list.
VRNT - Earnings will be out in a couple weeks, so if this one begins to show strength, you might consider booking profits quicker than you might otherwise consider.
Small Cap Watch List:
Nothing of significance on our Small Cap stocks today.
DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS:
CRM and BRCD will be removed from our Watch Lists as both report quarterly results on Monday.
Have a great weekend and PLEASE share your thoughts on our service with us if you haven't already.
Happy trading!
