EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: First, please note that we have updated the Candidate Tracker, adding 57 new stocks and now have 151 stocks in total, some of which will be added to our Watch List. You can see the 57 stocks added as well as other ones by clicking on the Candidate Tracker link under the Members section of our site. MARKET NOTE: It's Friday and so far we've got a mixed market with the Dow and S&P showing slight gains as we get ready to close out another week. Nothing major happened overnight which is just fine for the bulls with the S&P higher now than it was when the market closed for business last Friday. So lots of scares during the week but not enough to spook traders enough to take the market lower with the VIX continuing to favor the bulls. All of the major indexes continue to remain technically challenged, especially the Dow, but the bears so far have been unable to inflict major damage. It certainly would be a plus if the bulls could end the week on a positive note, starting with a close above 2094 on the S&P. And at a minimum they will want to hold the line above the 200 day which is now at a 2076 as a close below that level could spell trouble. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (August 14) include: JCP Companies reporting earnings Monday (August 17) include: A, EL and URBN ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: We are adding Priceline (PCLN)to our Large Cap Watch List at the current price of $1,280.18. We will provide all other information and add the chart to our site later today. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Short Watch List: There are no Short Watch List stocks at this time. Large Cap Watch List C - Stock continues to move higher after nice reversal on Wednesday and a close above $57.82 would be bullish. LEN - Stock is down slightly today but the Home Construction Index broke out above 600 which is bullish for the group. Mid Cap Watch List NUVA - Stock continues to hold the top of gap support and its 20 day moving average Small Cap Watch List KFY- Stock finally broke out of the $34-$34.10 range and a close above $34.84 would be bullish. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions from the Watch List today unless a Watch List stock closes below the stop loss provided.
