EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: Here we are, just a few hours from the much anticipated Fed rate announcement. It has the potential to be a historic meeting in respect to the possibility that they will raise rates which would be the first move in nine years. In looking at treasury yields you can see there has been some hedging leading up to the meeting. However, the yield on the ten year treasury note remains well below the most recent high near 2.5% which to me indicates the Fed will stand pat. In the meantime all of the major indexes have made some progress the past few sessions with all of them above their respective 20 day moving averages which puts the market in a position to move higher should traders cheer the Fed decision. On the other hand it wouldn't take much to return the full technical advantage to the bears so remaining cautious into the decision and announcement continues to make sense. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (September 17) include: ADBE and RAD Companies reporting earnings tomorrow (September 18) include: There are no key earnings reports due out tomorrow. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List AMZN - Stock is higher today and a close above $535 would be bullish. PLEASE NOTE - There are nice profits in this stock since originally being added to our Watch List. If the stock moves below $526 intra day or closes below its 20 day moving average, now at $516.85, it will be removed from our Watch List. LEN - Stock remains above all key technical levels. A close above $53.45 would be bullish. Mid Cap Watch List NUVA - Stock continues to look strong and a close above $55.69 would be very bullish. Small Cap Watch List RUBI - Stock is working hard to stay back above its 20 day moving average and a close above $15.06 would be bullish.
