Market Note: Apple reported its earnings after the bell last night and so far has gotten a positive response which is helping to lift the market higher. The bulls were successful in holding important support on the S&P at 2060 with an eye on higher prices. At the same time we've got the Fed rate announcement coming out later today though no one expects them to do or say anything that would be harmful to the market. Now the bulls will be aiming for 2100 on the S&P, a level not seen since August 18. And it's coming as the market gets ready to head in to a more bullish time of the year. Key Earnings Reports Today is a big earnings day, especially with the largest market cap company in the world, Apple, reporting its numbers after the bell. And when AAPL reports, the market listens.
