EB Watch List Update Report

MARKET NOTE: The market continues to digest the Fed's rate announcement from yesterday and today's weaker than expected GDP report. Are we back to bad news is good news with renewed speculation that the Fed might consider raising rates in December? If so, then the weaker than expected GDP report could be seen as a positive. But at the moment traders are taking back some of the gains we saw yesterday that saw the S&P touch a level not seen since the August 24 flash crash. The selling also comes with all of the major indexes closing in on being technically overbought. But we've seen lately that traders are waiting in the wings to gobble up stocks on pullbacks so they've got another opportunity to do so today. To the downside the bulls want to hold the 200 day moving average, now at 2061. To the upside the bulls would love to clear 2100 to show they are still in charge. A close above that level would be bullish. Mid Cap Watch List There are no mid cap stocks on the Watch List at this time Small Cap Watch List SWHC - Stock is hugging its 20 day moving average and a close above yesterday's close of $18.13 would be bullish. VRA - This stock continues in major consolidation mode and needs to distance itself from its 20 day moving average, currently at $12.68.
