EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: We are getting ready to close out the month of October and stocks are down slightly. Certainly the bulls can't complain as stocks have performed very well during October with the S&P up close to 8.5%. So we're probably overdue for a "time out." Even then, there has been a tremendous bid beneath the market; traders have been in a buying mood since the September 29 bottom. This week alone we heard from the Fed, got advanced Q3 GDP and have gotten earnings reports from hundreds of companies. So an awful lot for traders to absorb, but they have. Now we need to see if the market still has any legs to it or do we need to see some profit taking to present even better opportunities? Right now the bulls are aiming to clear 2100 while 2061 should provide solid support on any selling. So a fairly narrow range as we get ready to enter an historically bullish week. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (October 30) include: AON, CPN, CBOE, CVX, CL, CVS, ETN, EXC, XOM, IRM, LM, MCO, NWL, PSX, PSXP, STX, and WY Companies reporting earnings Monday (November 2) include: ALL, AIG, ARMK, CAR, CAH, CLX, CNA, D, EL, FIT, GGP, HNT, IEP, L, SYY, V and ZG ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: We added PLAY to our small cap Watch List yesterday with all information on our site. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List FLEX - Stock is flat for the day and the next key level of resistance is at $11.54, the 200 day moving average. A close above that level would be bullish. Mid Cap Watch List There are no mid cap stocks on the Watch List at this time Small Cap Watch List PLAY - Stock has dipped below its 20 and 50 day moving average intra day and we would like to see it close back above $38.63. SWHC - Stock continues to hug its 20 day moving average and a close above $18.19 would be bullish. VRA - Stock is down 3% today and we would like to see it close back above $12.66.
