EB Watch List Update Report

If you are unable to attend the live event you will have access to a recording. MARKET NOTE: The market showed some promise early but that faded quickly as traders remain on high alert. Where "buy on any dips" was the predominant trading strategy from late September and on, now traders are more than happy to exit positions on any perceived strength. And since the S&P closed back below 2100 the appetite for going long has waned. It's not helping that oil is once again showing weakness; the market does better when energy stocks are participating. The bulls will point to the fact that they successfully held the 20 and 200 day moving averages on the S&P, and this is true. So what we have now is a range of 2063 to the downside and 2100+ to the upside. Until one of those goes we'll be range bound. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (November 11) include: ADT, M, NTES and SINA Companies reporting earnings tomorrow (November 12) include: AAP, AMAT, CSCO, IGT, KSS, JWN, SIE.DE and VIAB ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: We're continuing to lay low as the selling plays out here. We've got some excellent candidates ready to go but want to avoid being premature. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List FLEX - Stock is flat today as it remains just above its 20 day moving average, now at $11.45. Would like to see it clear its 200 day moving average, now at $11.57. Mid Cap Watch List There are no mid cap stocks on the Watch List at this time Small Cap Watch List PLAY - Stock had a nice day yesterday and a close above $40.66 would be bullish. SWHC - Stock needs to close back above $18.0 to make further progress. VRA - This stock hit our closing stop of $12 yesterday so has been removed from our Watch List. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: VRA has been removed from our Watch List. There are no other deletions from the Watch List today unless a Watch List stock closes below the stop loss provided.
