EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: We're in a very bullish time of the year yet today's overall action is somewhat lackluster. You can see how badly the bears want the S&P to stay below 2100, and so far they are having success. The NASDAQ is also having trouble pulling away from 5100; it is higher but so far is like pulling teeth. So what gives? For one, tensions are high throughout the year; no one wants to risk waking up to more bad news. Next, while many analysts are convinced the Fed will be raising rates in December some of the economic reports of late haven't exactly been strong. Just more of the "so-so" variety which makes many wonder why the Fed would bother raising rates. One positive; the way the market rallied back yesterday after the move lower in the morning. It showed that traders are willing to buy on the dips, but the bulls are having a tough time convincing traders to get aggressively long. Still, there's no denying that this time of the year is quite positive. Now the bulls need to get the S&P over that 2100 level if they hope to get traders more excited. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (November 25) include: DE and DCI Companies reporting earnings Friday (November 27) include: There are no key earnings reports due out on Friday ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: It's tempting to add a stock or two to our Watch List but right now we're more in consolidation mode so let's hold off for now and revisit on Friday. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List BSX - Stock is flat as a pancake and a close over $18.40 could take the stock higher. NKE - Stock is up over 1.3% as it hits an all time high. FLEX - This stock closed at $11.24 three days in a row so it needs to close above that level to make further progress to the upside. Mid Cap Watch List EEFT - A nice comeback today after yesterday's move lower and a close above $78.28 would be bullish. WYN - Stock suffered some along with the rest of the hospitality sector. It will need to close back above $76.68 to regain some technical strength. Small Cap Watch List INVN - Stock is up 1.8% today and a close above $11.45 would be bullish. SWHC - Stock is down slightly and a close above $18.65 would be bullish. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions from the Watch List today unless a Watch List stock closes below the stop loss provided. I want to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving day and I will be back Friday morning with my EB Watch List Update Report. At your service, John Hopkins, EarningsBeats
