EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: A combination of monetary policy by the ECB as well as a likely change in policy by the US Fed has traders on high alert this morning with all of the major indexes lower. Toss in the monthly jobs report and a key OPEC meeting tomorrow and traders have quickly gotten more defensive. The selling this morning took the NASDAQ right back to 5100 while the S&P got within 3 points of its 200 day moving average, a level the bulls need to hold. And though not necessarily directly responsible for yesterday's or today's selling the market is understandably distressed by yesterday's developments in San Bernardino. From purely a technical perspective that 2065 level on the S&P is important since closing below that level would give the bears the technical advantage. And to the upside we continue to see how tough it has been for the bulls to clear 2100. So that is our range at the moment; 2065 to the downside and 2100 to the upside.
