EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: Here we go again? A very common theme of late where the market shows some promise only to fade as the day progresses. We've already seen that in the NASDAQ this morning which climbed back over 5100 only to turn negative with the S&P threatening to give up all of its early gains as well. The culprit? Maybe oil which actually had a nice move higher in the session on a much greater draw down in inventories than the market had expected, now having a tough time holding its early gains. It's the same type of action that has frustrated traders for quite a while now and may remain the same until we at least get through next week's Fed rate announcement. Current range on the S&P is 2052 to the downside and 2100 to the upside. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (December 9) include: COST, KFY, LULU and FIZZ Companies reporting earnings tomorrow (December 10) include: ADBE, CIEN and RH ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: Please note that we have added almost 50 new stocks to the Candidate Tracker which you can now find on our site. We are going to continue to hold off adding any new stocks at the moment and will focus on those that are currently on the Watch List. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List BSX - Stock is flat as a pancake after making a run at that next key level of resistance near $18.90. JNPR - Stock is down fractionally as it remains just below its 20 and 50 day moving averages. We want to watch this one closely as the 20 day moving average is converging on the 50 day from above and a cross below would be bearish. It needs to hold here and climb back above $30 to make further progress to the upside. Mid Cap Watch List EEFT - Stock is fairly flat today and still needs to get back above $77 to get back on track. WYN - This stock took a run at its 20 day moving averages earlier in the session and has suffered some technical damage as it remains below all key technical levels. It needs to close back above $76.44 to begin some technical repair. Small Cap Watch List IMPV - Stock is up almost 2.5% today, regaining some of yesterday's losses. A close back above $72.50 would put it back above all key technical levels. INVN - This stock has continues to struggle and is having a tough time gaining any traction. It's still holding its 50 day moving average but is having a tough time recapturing its 20 day which it tried to do earlier today. It needs to close back above $72.37 as a first start. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions from the Watch List today unless a Watch List stock closes below the stop loss provided. At your service, John Hopkins, EarningsBeats
