EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
MARKET NOTE
The monthly jobs report came out this morning and initially the market was disappointed. But that has changed with all of the major indexes now in positive territory. In fact, the number of jobs created exceeded expectations with the unemployment rate just slightly higher than expected. And hourly earnings came in right in line which is an overall positive; the market likes when wages are rising. Earlier in the session the VIX had spiked but now is close to even as traders had time to reflect on the solid jobs report. And even better, not much concern that the Fed will see the report as "too hot"; it came in just about right. The bit of selling we did see yesterday and into this morning has at least provided some relief from the technically overbought market conditions. All of the indexes remain stretched a bit but not as much as they were earlier in the week. Another positive sign; buying on the earlier dip. The S&P still remains below the most recent high of 2072 but also remains well above all key technical levels. Let's remember as well that we are now in a new month, one that historically is quite bullish. So all in all a much more positive period than we saw earlier in the year when everyone thought the sky was falling. Now we need to see if the bulls can mount another run towards key resistance on the S&P near 2080. I think they can but it might take a few days to get there.

ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS:
We are adding a stock to our Mid Cap Watch List - Garmin, LTD (GRMN) at an entry price of $39.33 as of this email with a price target of $41.70 and a VERY TIGHT stop of a close below $38.97. So if this stock weakens today it could stop out quickly. Next key level of support is near $38. All details will be added to our site prior to Monday's open
Also, please note that we will be updating our Candidate Tracker by removing some of the stocks that are on the list and will be reporting earnings soon and replacing with some new candidates. We will let you know when that has been completed. Remember that the past few weeks have been pretty light on earnings reports and that earnings season will heat up starting soon. So there might not be many additions to the list for at least a few weeks when thousands of companies begin to report their numbers.
Also, as a reminder, we added TRIP to our Large Cap Watch List yesterday at an entry price of $65.80 and a target price of $70.40. For some reason the detailed information was not updated on our site but that will be done today.
