EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: We've got another day of consolidation after the nice move higher earlier in the week. It's not so bad if your're a bull, holding on to the bulk of the recent gains. The VIX is up very slightly; no big deal. Trader confidence is holding up just fine here as earning season gets ready to heat up. We do need to keep in mind that options will be expiring at 4 PM eastern today. So there's a lot of squaring of options calls and puts which will be out of the way come Monday. Right now we've got a trading range of 2065 to the downside and 2100 to the upside. It's a fairly narrow range but one we can work with for now. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (April 15) include: SCHW, C and KMI Companies reporting earnings Monday (April 18) include: HAS, IBM, MTB, MS, NFLX, PEP and RMBS ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: No new additions today and we will revisit Monday as a slew of fresh corporate earnings begins. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: SHORTS: There are no shorts on the Watch List at this time LONGS: Large Cap Watch List AMAT - Stock is down slightly. We now need to see AMAT close above $21.48 to continue towards our target price of $21.85. Mid Cap Watch List There are no Mid Cap stocks on the Watch List at this time. Small Cap Watch List AVD - Stock is fairly flat and a close above $15.98 would be bullish. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions from the Watch List today unless a Watch List stock closes below or above the stop loss provided.
