EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: Traders entered the day willing to do a bit of nibbling , especially in tech stocks with the NASDAQ so oversold coming into the week. It's not up by much but its not lower either with the bulls knowing you've got to start somewhere. There's really not much to point to this morning except the oversold conditions. Perhaps that traders had the weekend to think about Friday's jobs report and determine it might not be as bad as it seemed; not great, but not horrible either. It also helped that the S&P held its 50 day moving average on Friday. This at least gave the bulls something to work with coming into the new week. But the market remains weak with the Dow lower and the S&P up very slightly. Now we're in a very narrow range on the S&P of 2067 to the upside and 2047 to the downside. That's only 20 points to work with and which ever one goes first could determine the very near term direction of the market. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (May 9) include: AES, DNB, HTZ, JUNO, LC, LMCA, ON, SLW.TO, TSN and W Companies reporting earnings Monday (May 10) include: ALU.PA, AGN, DF, FOSL, LL, SLF.TO, DIS and ZBRA ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: Might nibble some later if find something that looks worth pursuing. Will keep members posted. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: SHORTS: There are no shorts on the Watch List at this time LONGS: Large Cap Watch List STI - Stock is down slightly. Would like to see it close at least above 40.19 and a close back above $40.63 would be even better. There are no Large Cap stocks on the Watch List at this time. Mid Cap Watch List Small Cap Watch List ADPT - Stock is down over 1.5%. Would like to see it close back above $60.24.
