EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: The bulls are out in full force ahead of the UK voting results. As a result all of the major indexes are up sharply. The VIX is down over 15% as well showing less fear today then yesterday. But still the VIX remains at a level where things could shift quickly. Which brings me to today's voting with results coming after the market is closed. Though the S&P is back above 2100 I am much more interested in seeing where it closes. The last time it cleared 2100 it got as high as 2120. So if it clears that level it would be bullish. However, if we see selling into the close with a move back below 2100 that would concern me. And what worries me a bit is how everyone is certain that a vote for the UK to remain in the EU will cure all worlds woes. I'm not buying it. So it would not surprise me one bit to see a buy on the rumor sell on the news scenario. It is also very possible the rally holds and carries into tomorrow. I'm just a bit skeptical. Nonetheless we must respect the charts and so far all of the major indexes are back above all key moving averages. And until that changes we need to be respectful of the action. Still, from my perspective there is nothing to do at this point until we see the S&P clear 2120. Even then the all time high of 2134 could prove to be a brick wall. Neither level is that much higher and we should have a much better idea of where the market is headed come tomorrow.
