EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
MARKET NOTE:
The VIX is up 15% today as fear has worked its way back into the market. In fact the VIX is now back above all key technical levels as the world awaits the first presidential debate between the two main candidates. Just one trading day after both the Dow and S&P moved back above their respective 50 day moving averages they are right back below today as traders move to the sidelines. Only the NASDAQ remains above all key technical levels, no surprise given its strength of late. I am reminded that it's still September, a very challenging month of the year for stocks. That hasn't been the case so much up until now. So perhaps traders are remembering as well and choosing to take the cautious route. Should the selling continue, the next level of support on the S&P is 2139. Should that go then the very important support level near 2120 could come into play. The bulls don't want 2120 to go. That level represents the bottom of the current trading range and now resistance is at 2158, currently the 50 day moving average. So you can use those levels as a guide as a new trading week is underway.

BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS:
SHORTS:
There are no shorts on the Watch List at this time
LONGS:
Large Cap Watch List
ROST - Stock is lower along with the market but remains well above all key technical levels. A close back above Friday's close of $64.26 would show the stock still has strength.
Mid Cap Watch List
There are no Mid Cap stocks on the Watch List at this time.
Small Cap Watch List
LCI - This stock is under pressure today but at a level (currently at $28.46 as of this email) that could represent a high reward to risk entry level for those not already in the stock and could serve as a second entry for those who are interested in adding more and averaging down. It should have support right at $28 on any further selling and that is going to be our new stop loss; a close below $28.
DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS:
