EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET NOTE: So what's new today? Well, we've got a new trading day, week and month. Aside from that much of the same; a strong NASDAQ and a S&P stuck in a well defined range. The S&P is straddling its 20 day moving average. So it's not breaking out but its not breaking down, at least yet. It's indicative of the type of action I would expect as traders wait for a more definitive move, either up or down. When I say the NASDAQ is strong I don't mean being down is great. What I mean is it is above all key technical levels; 20, 50 and 200 day moving averages. The same cannot be said for the Dow or S&P. Notice that the VIX is up 5% today; a bit of renewed nervousness. It is very possible that we'll maintain the 2120 to 2193 range on the S&P throughout the week as traders prepare for Friday's jobs report. Then next week we'll start to get earnings reports with thousands of companies reporting by month's end. So for now we remain cautious; too tough to short here but tricky to get aggressively long as well. Right now very few companies are reporting but that will change starting the week after next. Note that the stock is now within one percent of our target of $65 so don't hesitate to take some profits and raise your stop loss. It will be bullish if the stock can close above its high of the day of $64.64. Mid Cap Watch List There are no Mid Cap stocks on the Watch List at this time.
