EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
MARKET NOTE:
It's election day and all of the major indexes are trading higher. The good news for the bulls is that the S&P is back above its 20 day moving average while the Dow is above all key technical levels. The NASDAQ is now back over its 20 day moving average as well. The VIX was higher earlier but is now down a almost 5% percent as traders are less nervous today than they were even a few days ago. The S&P still has work to do as it remains below its 50 day moving average now at 2147. The bulls could run into a brick wall there. On the the other hand if they can clear that level then there's room for more movement to the upside. Under "normal" circumstances it might be easier to determine where the market might be headed in the near term. But a once every four year presidential election with results possibly known within hours certainly adds a different than usual element. Still, the market held exactly where it needed to last week with the S&P exactly holding its 200 day moving average before bouncing. So now we've got a trading range on the S&P of 2085 to the downside and 2147 to the upside. The bulls certainly do not want to revisit that recent low; they're much more focused on clearing the 50 day once the election is out of the way and taking the market higher.

LONGS:
Large Cap Watch List
PPYL - Stock is up over 1.5% and is back above all key technical levels. A close above $42.33 would be seen as a positive.
Mid Cap Watch List
MAN - Stock was lower earlier in the session but is now higher and a close above $80 would be a good sign.
Small Cap Watch List
HLX - Stock tried once again to clear its 20 day moving average without succes. Really want to see it close above this level, now at $8.96.
