EB Watch List Update Report

MARKET NOTE: Dear Members: The market is acting today like everything is business as usual, not that there is an important hearing going on that could have important implications. In fact the VIX dipped back below 10 again earlier in the session with traders seeming to focus more on the market than the actual hearing. This has the NASDAQ back above 6300 while it remains very overbought, also seemingly unimportant to traders, While the NASDAQ is humming along the S&P is flat; it's been having a tough time gaining any ground since its most recent high of 2440. Though the S&P has stalled for the moment it doesn't mean it can't go higher - or lower - it just means that traders aren't making any big moves one way or another, content to hold on to their positions. Traders are moving away today from gold which has been on a tear lately, so some indication that traders are feeling less of a need to have a hedge in an alternative asset. There's certainly no indication that traders are ready to give up on the market. To the contrary stocks are holding up quite well, the hearing on the Hill not-withstanding. The trading range on the S&P remains narrow; 2440 to the upside and 2412 to the downside. As a reminder we have a stop of any close below $17.35. TER - Stock is up another 1.4% today and a close above $35.71 would be very bullish. Mid Cap Watch List None at this time Small Cap Watch List BLMN - Stock is up 2% today and a close above $20.89 would be bullish. CYH - Stock is up slightly as it has so far held key support at its 200 day moving average. Would like to see it close back above $8.50 which would be positive.
