EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: First, I want to remind everyone we have a new and powerful feature available to members who are also StockCharts.com members. Up until now you have been able to see all of the stocks on the Candidate Tracker. But you have not had the ability to download all of the stocks and accompanying charts in one simple step into your own ChartList at StockCharts.com. But, you can now! This will allow you to set up your own criteria - i.e., key moving averages, volume, price/technical support, etc. - those key indicators most important to you when searching for trades. This requires a certain level of membership (that you might already have) but would give you a greatly enhanced ability to manage each stock in the Candidate Tracker. MARKET NOTE: We've got a mixed picture this morning with the Dow and S&P lower and the NASDAQ recouping some of yesterday's losses. It's not surprising to see the Dow and S&P lower; they had gotten technically overbought. The NASDAQ, on the other hand, has shown weakness lately, closing below its 20 day moving average yesterday before this morning's bounce. The VIX is interesting; It's not up by much, however, it is now back above its 20 day moving average and challenged its 50 day from the downside this morning before pulling back some. But to me it looks like more traders have moved into the cautious camp, wondering if the recent market highs might mark a near term top. Both the Dow and S&P remain above all key technical levels, favoring the bulls. I'm particularly keeping an eye on the S&P; it's mostly held its 20 day on any pullbacks the past two months, so a close below that level, now at 2427, could result in additional selling. KEY EARNINGS REPORTS Companies reporting earnings today (June 21) include: KMX, ORCL, SCS and WGO Companies reporting earnings tomorrow (June 22 ) include: ACN, BKS, BBBY, CCL and SONC ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: I'm looking at a few potential trading candidates for members but I'm a bit hesitant at the moment. Let's see what develops as the day progresses. CYH - Stock continues to bump up against its 50, day moving average, currently at $9.11, which it needs to clear to make further progress.
