EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET UPDATE The bulls continue to remain in charge with all of the major indexes higher, having recaptured all important technical levels.The VIX is down 4% as it has pulled back below its 200 day and is trying to move back below its 20 day. So traders' nerves have steadied some after the high level of anxiety we saw last week. It's actually tough to point to any specific reason as to why the market has remained buoyed except traders have mostly been quite satisfied with overall Q2 earnings. That's not insignificant considering the bottom line is what investors care about mostly. Blue chips continue to lead the move higher while tech stocks continue to lag. Thus the market could remain more in consolidation mode rather than full speed ahead mode without some type of additional stimulation to bring more traders off the sidelines. In looking at a chart of the S&P the all time high close was 2480, making that level important to clear if the bulls hope to take stocks higher. To the downside there's now support at 2463. So this is the range we are working with at the moment.
