EB Daily Market Report - Friday, January 17, 2025

Dear Members.

The market continues to be in a good mood with all of the major indexes nicely higher as we get ready to close out another trading week.

We're very early into 2024 Q4 earnings season and so far traders seem pleased with what they've seen and heard. And beginning next week we're going to start getting numbers from more highly visible copanies so we'll see if the positive mood continues.

The good news for the bulls is all of the major indexes are now back above all key techincaql levels which is important if they hope to see even higher prices. Moving back above 6000 on the S&P is a good start with the bulls hoping at some point to get over 6100 which would represent an all time high.

Not much else to discuss today and we can watch to see how the market closes and Tom will be back with his Weekly Market Report on Monday.
